Privacy Policy

Account details (email, the display name you choose, sign-in method), preferences you set (email opt-ins, season theme, sound choices), progress data (points, badges, completed activities, referral codes), community posts and reports you make, and basic technical information such as device type and IP address. Journal entries and wellness notes you choose to save stay private to your account.

To create and protect your account, provide the service and save your progress across devices, run the points and rewards system, prevent fraud, moderate the community, answer support requests, improve the app, personalise and display advertisements to support the service, and send the emails you opt into. We only use information for the purposes described here.

We process information to perform our contract with you (running your account), based on legitimate interests (keeping the app safe and improving it), with your consent (optional emails), and to meet legal obligations where required.

Service providers that help us run Next Move Best Move (hosting, database, analytics, advertising and support tools), our Merchant of Record Paddle — which handles purchases, subscription management, payments, tax and invoicing for Plus — professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

We never show other members your points balance, reward history, journal entries, goals, location or health-related information. Nothing you write in wellness tools is posted or shared without you choosing it.

Account data is kept while your account is open. If you delete your account we delete or anonymise personal information we no longer need, except records the law requires us to keep (for example purchase records handled by Paddle).

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete or move your data, to object to or limit how we use it, and to withdraw consent for optional emails at any time from your account page. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. We answer requests within one month.

We use encryption in transit, row-level access controls in our database, and strict account isolation so one member can never read another member's data.

Next Move Best Move currently uses essential cookies and on-device storage needed to sign you in, protect the service and remember settings. If analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by law. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own by our service providers. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
